I have been going into the hallowed halls of Liberty since I was a little girl. Back then, with a mum who sewed frequently, the iconic British heritage brand was one of the big three haberdashery destinations by Oxford Circus, alongside John Lewis and Dickens & Jones. Nowadays, Liberty is a sanctuary for me to visit when I need to forget all the worries of the world and get inspired by the hushed tudor-like walk ways and rolls upon rolls of its distinctive prints.
So, I’m more then a little excited about the collaboration with kids juggernaut Mamas and Papas and Liberty. Two beloved British brands coming together for the ultimate mash-up of kids clothing, toys, interiors (including a beautiful rocking horse) and pushchairs in six different Liberty prints.
Little MG, Lady ER and I had the pleasure of attending the launch of the collection and I can tell you it is even more wonderful in the flesh. Think heritage, modern details and luxurious touches, all wrapped in pieces with bucket loads of ahh factor.

In addition to dresses, there are lots of other pieces to complete your mini-mes wardrobe. I recognise this print from when I was little.

Now there’s just one look for the little dudes, but it’s wonderful. A sunbleached denim-like shirt paired with a rather snazzy Liberty print bow tie.

This dress is my absolute favourite from the collection. I love how the navy trim, gives the delicate floral print some weight and thought it looked amazing on Lady ER.
Right, enough of the photo album. Check out the Mamas & Papas Liberty collection (starts at £16 – £579) over at Mamas & Papas and Liberty (or if you fancy a treat for all senses, in store).
